On Saturday, we took the bus to the Epidavros theater to see a play called the Persians. The theater holds 18000 spectators. It is immense. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to take photos of the actual play. I can only imagine what it would look like in the ancient times with torches lighting the stage, the actors wearing original costumes and speaking without the use of microphones and speakers.
