Capri

Road to the sea

One of the sea caves on the west coast of Capri
View of marina Capri

We're on Capri right now after having visited Pompeii and Vesuvius.
Capri is beautiful and I am considering staying here for the winter although I can imagine that it gets a lot colder and wetter. We're having 25 -30 knot winds right now, so staying put and doing some sightseeing. It's too rough to see the Blue Grotto, but there is a stunning view everywhere and lots of other sights. The bus ride to Anacapri is amazing! Right alongside the cliff that goes about a thousand feet down.

Hello Lady
my name is Herb, I'm retired and
I guess I love sailing and travelling as much as you do :-).
Congratulations for your website and blogs with excellent informations and photos about Eidos, your cruising and travelling!
I was at about the same time at exactly the same area/places where you were. Who knows, we could have seen each other. What I did in addition to your cruise was visiting Ischia. It's absolutely great; awsome. If you were not there, you missed a really stunning spot!!! Beside excellent 'gelati' and fresh figs right from the tree it offers much more than Capri!!! It's a must!!!Please keep in touch and let me know your future plans. Best regards, Herb
