Getting ready to launch - part 2.

Betul arrived a few days later and soon got to work cleaning, sanding and painting under the sink in the bathroom (heads in boat talk). Here she is prepared for anything.
She not only cleaned, sanded and painted but also fitted in a new fresh drinking water filter. Not an easy job but she succeeded! We now have lovely, tasty water to drink on board. Thank you Betul.

Betul is an artist and cooks as well.

Crepes with strawberries and honey for breakfast.

One evening, the girls made a fire on the beach, invited some boys and then we all made things from clay that Betul brought all the way from Turkey. They cooked a meal on the fire as well. What a treat!

Here are the art projects we made from clay.

Noa with Betul to help made a tasty bread which we had for lunch.

They also went kayaking for the afternoon.

And then off to Italy, Spain and England for Betul while Noa took some days off to visit Meteora.
