Farmers' market

Vonitsa farmers' market.

This is my favourite way to shop - at the farmers' market. I have my favourite - Antheia who does not  use pesticides or weed killers, and lets her chickens run free. I bring my granny buggy and fill it with cherries, grapes, and plums. Then on top go cucumbers, tomatoes and eggs. I know the fruit and vegetables are in season and locally sourced - there is a glut of them and prices are low. There is even a man selling local honey and another one offering organic wine. What more could one want?
