Back to Parga and then Fanari Bay

I wanted to go back to Paxoi Island, but didn't relish motoring the ten miles in the morning and when the wind finally arrived at two in the afternoon, it blew straight from the island. So, there really was not enough time especially since I would have had to tack back and forth into the wind and waves, which more than doubles the distance.
I had to change my course and instead headed back to Parga on the mainland and waited there for two days, hoping for better winds. Unfortunately, the winds are now very light both morning and afternoon. And of course, when the wind does finally comes up, it comes from the west, which is where I hoped to sail.
So, after a frustrating morning, I arrived in Fanari Bay and will be staying here for the night. Let's see where the Greek god of wind, Aeolus decides to send me tomorrow.

I do need to get back to Preveza and Aktio in the next few days to get Eidos ready for hauling out and to get some groceries and water on board. As you can see from the photo above, it's a long row to shore. The red buoy on the right side of the photo marks the extent of the swimming area, so I couldn't have anchored any closer.
