Corfu town tour

We sailed from Petriti to Garitsa Bay, south of the old Fort where we dropped anchor. Very busy here.

The next day, I hopped on the hop-on-hop off bus and did a 16 Euro of the major attraction. Even though I'd been to Corfu before, but saw the town only on foot. After the tour, I realized that could have done the same thing using city bus no. 2. Next time.

 

 This is what I wanted to see the most:

A famous church, you'll see it on all the websites of Corfu. It could be a nice place to sail to and anchor except it's not permitted. And this is why:

The airport is right next to the anchorage and planes come very low during approach. A tall mast could get caught in the wheels.
