Since Eidos is hauled out for the winter, I have decided to head for warmer climate. With predicted skyrocketing prices for heating, the further south I can get, I was thinking, the better. Perhaps I might even break even. Cyprus seemed like the best bet when balanced with prices for flights. After a €50 flight with Cyprus Air (10kg carry on included) from Athens to Larnaca, I gained perhaps 5 degrees in temperature. Not too shabby.
I spent three days in Larnaca, (nice, but too big for a small town girl), I moved on to to Paphos (very nice, but too noisy) and then a little bit further up the coast to hopefully my winter home. Sunny Hill Hotel and Apartments.
