Keeping warm

First thing this morning, we moved Eidos from her mooring to side on to the town quay. This is  to avoid having to haul up the stern anchor when I want to leave. Thanks to the help of crew of Mari-Ann and Second Nature,  all went well.

There is free water in Little Vathi, but no electricity and so without the heater, we have to think of other ways of keeping warm early in the morning and at night.

Yesterday and today, Chló made a hearty potato and pumpkin stew.

And this morning I made use of my oven.

Apple, raisin, cinnamon baked French toast.

Later this morning we said goodbye to my new friends on Mari-Ann. They're off to Ithaki.
