Santa Maura fort in Lefkas

It was a good day for a walk, so I went to the Santa Maura fort at the entrance to Lefkas canal. It's a half hour walk from Lefkas to the entrance and I spent an hour inside the fort. I enjoy walking alone but am a bit nervous too far from civilization, so this was an easy one to do alone. There is a 2 Euro entrance fee plus 3 Euros for a guide book and at this time of the year, I was the only visitor and happily had the place to myself.
